LivProtect comprises Bio-80 Silybum marianum, which has been clinically tested, in combination with traditionally used herbs to promote liver function. Silybum marianum has been utilised as a hepatoprotective and antioxidant in Western herbal medicine. Traditional western herbal medicine uses Silybum marianum and Cynara scolymus to treat digestive problems like dyspepsia. When the liver and spleen are out of balance, Bupleurum falcatum is utilised in traditional Chinese medicine. Antioxidant activity and support are provided by glutathione.
